MINUTES OF THE REGULAR A?ONTHLY MEETING OF THE MAYOR AND ALDERMENOF THE UNITED
CITY OF THE VILLAGE OF YORKVILLE, ILLINOIS, HELD AT THE VILLAGE HALL YORKVIL`,E,
ILLINOIS AT 8:00 P.M. Thursday June 11, L959.
Mayor Windett called the meeting to order and directed the Clerk to call the roll.
Upon roll being taken the following aldermen were present:

Absent- Elden Madden, lst ward.
Minutes of the regular monthly meeting of the Mayor and Aldermen held on April 19,
1959 were read and ordered ap-roved.
The Clerk then read the bills as follows:

James E. Price, Salary Supt of streets and alleys 200.00

The bills were refered to the finance committiee to be paid if found coreect.
A report was given by Walter E. Deuchler Asociated on the progress of the
water work. Engneers estimate number two was presentedfor the amount of
$7000.00. Om motion of Alderman Hayden seconded by alderman Mitchell
to pay the W. J. Lewis construction company. On roll being taken all alder-
men Voted aye.
A discussion was had on the building and zonning. The building and zonning
committiee was instructed to meet with Building inspector smith.
The building ordinance was presented and on motion of Alderman Mitchell seconded
by Alderman Hayden to accept said ordinance. Upon roll being taken the following
aldermen voted aye Hughes, Randles, Hayden Trammel and Mit hell. Carried. Absent
Alderman Madden.
Mr. Frank Calabreese presented a letter from the state fire marshall stating there
were no objection to the p°oposed bulk storage at his place of business. A discuss-
ion was had on said storage. Upon moti n of aldermanTrummel seconded by alderman
Mitchell said storage hay be 'nstalled tirith the provision that said storage whll be
for retail only to ultimate consumar only. Upon roll being taken the following
aldermen v oted aye, Hughes, Randles, Trummel, Hayden and tlithcell, Nayes N.ne
ca °ried. Absent Madden.
A decussion was had on the Peterson and Riemenschnieder water hook up and the
water committiee was instructed to meet with -�'eterson and Riemenschnieder and
agree to the details of the hook-up.
A general discussion was had on water hook-up costs and regulations for new
subpdivisions. Attorney Ohse was instructed to to draw up a new ordinance
for same with the cost of water hoot-up set at $150.00, Stith alderman Hayden
making the motion and alderman Mithhell secondeding. Upon roll being taken all
aldermen voted aye.
A g r general discussion was had on sever hook-up and city attorney Ohse was
instructed to draw up an ordinance with the cost of a sewer hoolo-up set at 8?150.00.
On motion of alderman Randles seconded by alderman Mitchell. Upon roll being taken
all aldermen voted aye.
There being no futhur business the meeting was adjourned.
