A general discussion was had on the rezonning. On motion of Alderman Tuummel seconded by Alderman Hughes that the rezonning be 2cce-ted. Upon roll being taken the following aldermen voted aye: Hughes, Madden, T�z=el, Hayedn and Mitchell. Nayes: Randles. Carried and so ordered. On Motir)n of Alderman Hayden seconded by Alderman Madden for an ordinance changing the zonning clasification from residentual to business. (See ordndance book_) Upon rolll-eing taken the following aldermen voted aye: Hughes, Madden, Trummel, Hayden and Kithhell. Nayes: Randles. Carreed. Bieritz bid a even 3000.00 On motion of Alderman Randles seconded by alderman lithhell that the low bid of Fox valley be accepted with the second low bid of Jack Lawson be held in abayance. Upon roll being taken the following aldermen voted aye: Hughes, Madden, Randles, Hayden and Mitchell. Carried. Mr. Frank Calabreese requested that he be alowed to install oil storage tanks on his propertyfor retail sale of fuel oil and diesl fuel. A general discussion was had and Mr. Calabreese is to meet with the zonning committiee at a future date. Dr. Lou.mis and Mr. Chatles Baird spoke to the Mayor and Aldermen. •requesting the the citys help in a clean up day. The Mayor promised him helonin any way the city could. The clerks estimate was presented and a giscussion was had on the same. On motion of alder=man Hughes seconded by alderman Randles tbeaeeeoteettimbte. Upon roll being taken the following aldermen Voted aye: Hughes, Madden, Randles, Trummel, Hayden and Mitchell.. A resolution (see attached) was presented and read by the city attorney in regards to the repairs of Bridge Street (route 47) through the city. On motion of alderman Hughes Seconded by Alderman Trummel to ac-ept said resolution. Upon roll being taken all a1,?ermen voted aye. Carried. Om motion of alderman Hayden seconded by alderman Mithhell thtt day light savings time be en effect for the Last sunday in April (26th) to the last sunday in october (31st) .
