ON FRIDAY FEBRUARY 13, 1959 AT 8:00 P.M.
Mayor Windett called the meeting to order and directed the clerk to call the roll.
Upon roll being taken the following aldermen were present.

1959 were read and ordered approved.
The Clerk the read the bills as follows:

The bills were refered to the finance committiee to be naid if found correct.
The police report for the month of January was read and ordered approved.
The renort on streets and alleys and water department was read and ordere,' approved..
Alderman Trummell gave a report on the making of maps for the city. Upon motion
of alderman Handles seconded by alderman Mitchell that the maps be made. Upon roll
being taken the foll -wing alderman voted aye; Yadden, Handles, Trummel, Hayden and
Mitchell.
The Bill Board Ordinance was presented by the `%ity Att rney, Upon motion of Alderman
Trummel seconded by Alderman Handles the the Ordinance be accepted. Upon rollbeing
taken the following aldermen voted `fie: Madden, Handles, j'rum-,m Hayden, and Mitchell.
Nayes: N ne, carreid and so ordered.
A general discussion was had on the cost of sewer and water hook-ups in the Borrough of
Bristol. It was refered back to committiee for furthur study.
The City Clerk presented and read a Petition of LaRue Breese and Della. Breese
for Rezoning of the following described. property from Residence D4strict Uses
to Business District Uses. Lots 6 and 7 in Block k4 of the Original Village
of Yorkville, in Yorkville, r'endall County, Ill._inois. The Clerk Stated the
k'etition was filled in his office on January 24, 1959.
After a discussion being had, the following desolution (see attached sheet)
was adopted upon motion of alderman Hayden and. seconded by alderman _`Titchell.
Upon roll call being taken the following aldermen voted aye: Madden, Handles,
Trummel, Hayden and Mitchell. Nayes: None, A'csent, Alderman Hughes. Carried
and so ordered.
Mayor Windett then nominated, Wri. i°laier, George E. ?dalte,�3, Clifford Hodge, "ichard E.
Brettelle and itaymond Thomson to act as a Commission to hear the Petition as
presented and previously read by the clerk. Alderman 1itchell Seconded by
Alderman lru.mmel moved the nominations by accepted. Upon rollbeing taken the
following aldermen Madden, Trummel, dandles, Hayden and Mitchell voted aye.
Nayes: ?`lone, Absent Hughes, Carried.
The Mayor then declared these pe-sons nominated to constitute the Zoning
Commission for the Breese `rearing and appointed Wm. Maier, Chairman. The Clerk
was then directed to advise the persons that constitute the Commi-lion and
direct him to set the s-rne for hearing before his Commission.
The City Attorney presen!-,ed a resolution to make application to cross the Fox
River and construct a 10 inch water main (see attached shec;t) . Alderman Randles
seconded btr alderman "ayden that said resolution be accepted. Upon roll being
-taken the following aldermen voted aye: Madden, Randles, Trummel, Hayden and
kitchell, Nayes: None. harried a nd so ordered.
The City Attorney presented a resolution, being an executed Easement for right
away across Frank Sharp and Alberta Sh.,rp property (see attached sheet) . Alder-
man Madden seconded by alderman Randles that said resolution be accepted. Upon
roll being taken the following aldermen voted aye; 1°adden, Randles, Trummel,
Hayden, iitchell. Nayes: None. Carried and so ordered.
Alderman sadden presented a resolution the the City advertise for bids for cher^icals
and spraying of Elm trees for the control of Dutch Elm fisease. The bits to be
opened at an adjourned meeting on Feburary 26, 1959 at 5:00 P.Pi. at,the Village Hall.
on motion of alderman Hayden seconded by alderman Trummel that said resolution
be adopted roll was taken. Aldermen Madden, Randles, Trummel, Ha5tden and Mitchell
voting aye. Nayes: none. absent, Huges. Carreed and so ordered.
There being no other business the meeting was adjourned to Feburary 26, 1959.
