Mayor 1,Tindett called the meeting to order and directed the clerk to call the roll.

The police report for the -nonth of december was read and orddred annproved.
The reoort on streets and alleys and the water department was read and ordered
approved.
A general discussion was had on sending notices that vehicle tags xxxx are due with
the .meter readers. It was decided to do this.
The Boy scouts were given premiss!on to sell `h,irstmas reaths on Saturday the 13th.
The taverns were given per,iission to remain open untill ? AM on new ,years eve.
On motion of Alderman Handles seconded by alderman Hughes that the City accept the
bids of the W. J. Lewis Co and the ' ayor and clerk accept contract of said company
(see attachtdd resolution) . (loon roll being taken the follolfaing alder-en voted
aye: Hu-hes, Ia.dden, Handles, Hayden and -iitch.ell., Mayes: 'done, Absent Trummel.
Carried and so ordered.
There bfamgg no futher business the meeting was adjourned.
