Mayor Windett called the meting to order and di_rectrd the clerk to call the roll.

The bills were ref'ered to the finance committee to be paid if found correct.
The police report for the rionth of july was read and ordered anr)roved.
The Light committee reported that the light pole was erected in the p-rk and suggested
that a charge of $5.00 be charged for ites use and a meter reading if to be used over
one day. Upon roll being taken all aldermen Aye. Carried.
The Health Committee reported that non-residents of Yorkville are using the dump and
that a fence should be errected around it. upon motion of Alderman Mitchell seconded
by Alderman Trummell that 300 feet of fence should be erected aoimd the dump. Upon
roll being taken all aldermen voted aye. Nayes Nine. Carried and so ordered.
Alderman Madden gave a report on Dutch Llm diseas.
A general discussion was had on "U" Turns at the coroners of Hydraulic and Bridge St.
and Van Emmon and Bridge Streets. It was decided to pain no "U" Turns of the street
and to place No U Turn signs at the coroners.
Walter E. Deuchler gave a report on the proposed .,rater main extension over to the
new high school. On motion of Alderman handles seconded by Alderman Trammel for
Deuchler to start on plans for water extension to the schools. Upon roll being tarn
all aldermen voted aye. Nayyes-none. Carried.
