Police Committee
Agenda
August, 1983
1. Discuss replacement of radar. Would like to eliminate two
speedguns, to be replaced with one Kustom. We have one Kustom,
purchased in 1978.
2. Authorization to purchase two fireproof files; one large and
one for index cards.
3. Authorization for bug service at the P.D.
4. Discuss changing job assignments. Captain Reuter will be the
detective and Sgt. Millen will be night shift supervisor.
5. Carpeting at P.D. deteriorating; Need ceramic tile in both
bathrooms; will be easier to clean up after flooding. Sgt.
Millen said he would install same.
6. Authorization to look into programmable ISPERN radio for the
detective car. We have borrowed one from Plano, but costly
to install. Smaller one adequate.
7. Working with school officials, J. T., Mary Thomas and Suzette
Heth on use of parking, traffic and security at football field.
8. Captain Reuter will be attending a one week class on crime scene
photography at Ottawa.
