and the Borough of Bristol held on
the 15th day of Mayy,1957. At the
Pursuant to the following notice: By order of the PresiThel
of the Board of Trusteed of the Village of Yorkville, Kendal
County, Illinois, you are hereby notified of a special meetin
of the President and Board of Trustees of said Village to be Wednesday, May 15, 1957, at the Village Hall of said Village
i:00 P.M. , to meet with the Board of Trustees of the Village of
Bristol regarding the combing of the Village of Yorkville and
the Village of Bristol. Also to pass an election ordinance" Date
this 12th dap of May, A.D. 1957, at Unkville, Illinois.

Also pursuant to the following notice. N By order of the
President of the Board of Trustees Of the Village of Bristol,
Kendall County, Illinois, you are hereby notified of a special
meeting of the President and the Board of Trustees of said Vill
to be held Wednesday,May 159 1957, at the Village Hall in the
Village of Yorkville, Illinois, at 8:00 P.M. to meet with the
Board of Trustees of the Village of Yorkville regarding the com-
bining of the Village of Yorkville and the Village of Bristol.
Also to pass an election erdinancep . Dated this 12th day of May,
A.D. 1957, at Yorkville, Illinois. Elmer Honker, Village Clerk,
Village of Bristol.
The meeting was called to order by President WindettI being
the President of the older of the two Villago's. Upon motion bei
made by Trustee Russell Hughes of the Village of Yorkville,
socended by President Sleeser of the Village of Bristol, Paul A.
Merkel was elected to act as Clerk Pro-Tess for the joint meeting.
Whereupon said 91erk Merkel read the above call and then the
following roll call was made:
Borough of Yorkville, present: President Windett, Trustees
Delbert Trummel, Russell Hughos, Carl Schobert, Leonard Olson,
Walter Olsen, William Randles. Absent: None.
Borough of Bristol, present: President Covell Sleeser,
Trustees: Howard Blackman, Duane Hayden, Gilford Johnson, Homer
Dickson, and Winifred Prickett. Absent: George Whitfield.
President Windett then s*Jted that the purpose of this
meeting was to decide upon the division of the United City of the
Village of Yorkville into Wards. After discussion being had, it
was moved and unanimously adopted by bath boards voting jointly
that the following Wards be designated as the Wards for the Unite
City of the Village of Yorkville, Illinois. Said motion being;
by Trustee Duane Hayden, seconded by Trustee William Randles.
WARD No. 1- shall consist of all that part of the United
City which lies South of a line described as followsmommencing
on the Nest Boundary of the United City at known pint O Read,section of the center line Of the highway ,
the Borough of Yorkvillq thence: Northeasterly along the center
line *I said Fox Road to the intersection of the center line of
Franklin Street in said Borough, thence: Easterly along the
center line of Franklin Street and such center line extended
Easterly in a straight line to the East Boundary of the United
City.

Village Hall at 8:00 P.M.

WARD No.2- shall consist of all that part of the United City
which lies North of a line described as follows: commencing on
the West Boundary of the United City at the point of intersect-
ion of the center line of the highway known as Fox Road, in the
Borough of Yorkville, thence; Northeasterly along the center line
of said Fox Road to the intersection of the center line of Frankl n
Street in said Borough, thence: Easterly along the center line of
Franklin Street and such center line extended Easterly in a straillrht
line to the East Boundary of the United City, and south of a line
which is the center line of Main Street in the Borough of Bristol
and such line extended in a straight line to the last and West
Boundaries of said United City.
WAU No.3— shall consist of all that part of the United City
which lies North of a line which is the center line of Main Stree
in the Borough of Bristol and such line extended in a straight
line to the East and Wost boundaries of said United City.
Trustee Winifred Pricett then moved, and Trustee Leonard Olsolt
seconded the motion which was unanimously adepted: that Attorney
C.R. Ohse and Attorney Roger Clark be directed to draft an eleeti n
ordinance calling an election for the United. City and that eUd
Attorney's be directed to take all necessary steps in order to
validate the union of the Village of Yorkville and the Village of
Bristol into the United City of the Village of Yorkville
There being no further business to come before the meeting,
the meeting was, upon motion of Trustee Carl Schubert, seconded
by Trustee Howard Blackman: adjourned. Whereupon said meeting
was adjourned.
