City Council Minutes 1957 03-04-57 March 4, 1957 The regular monthly meeting of the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Yorkville, Kendall County, Illinois was held at the Village Hall of said Village on Monday March 41 1957 and was called to order by President Kapelsky at 8:00 o'clock P.M. Finding present can the Boll Call were: President Bapelsky, Trustees Windett, Hughes, Olsen, Olson, Clerk Merkel. Absent Trustees Randles and Schobert. Minutes of the regular meeting of the February 4, 1957 were read and so ordered approTed. Reports for month of February 1957 of the Clerk, Chief of Police, Supt. of Streets and Alleys and Mater Dept. were read. Roll Call — Ayes- Trustees Windett, Hughes,, Olsen and Olson. Mayes- None_ Absent - Trustees Randles and Schobert. Carried and so ordered approved. After much discussion that the corner of Orange and State , is without adequate lighting the following resolution that the Village Board is of the opinion that the present street light located on State Street between Orange and Washington Streets should be moved to the corner of Orange abd State Streets. On motion by Trustee Hughes - seconded by Trustee Olsen 5=� LO PT t the abov Resolution be passed and adopted. " Trustees present voting favorably-Absent Trustees Randlan VF REto4vroq and Schobert. A The condition of the Public Rest Room was brought up, all windows broken and the building itself in a un-repairable Condit: n and not used too much- on motion by Trustee Windett -seconded by Trustee Olson that the above building be torn down.
