City Council Minutes 1957 02-04-57
February 4, 1957 TF Roll Call- Ayes- Trustees Hughes, Olseb, Olsen, Randlea and Schobert. Nayes- None Absent- Trustee Windett Carried and so ordered approved. On motion by Trustee Randles, seconded by Trustee Schobert that Jesse C. Dankle be re-appointed Special Deputy Marshall to serve at the convenience of the Board at the salary of $1.50 per hourplas expense of $1 As per day for police car expense. Jesse Dunkle was not present - the Clerk was instradtod to see thick Dankle was sworn in as Special Deputy Marshall and to check on his $500.00 Surety Bond to see if it was still in effect or to post new Surety Bond with the Clerk no he could commence hi duties at once. Roll Call- Ayes- Trustees Hughes; Olsen, Olson, Randles and Schobert. Nayes- None Absent - Trustee Windett Carried and so ordered approved. On motion by Trustee Randles- seconded by Trustee Hughes that Village purchase two six pound 002 Fire Zoinguishers -one to placed in the 1956 GM0 Village Truck- one to placed in the Village Hall. Roll Call- Ayes- Trustees Hughes Olson, Olson, Randles and Schobert. Nayes- None Absent- Trustee Windett Carried and so ordered approved. An Resolution stating the the Pillage of Yorkville shall undertake the surfacing and maintenance of Washington and Orange Streets as both stretts respectfully extend a distance of approximately two hundred sixty four west of State Street was row and on motion by Trustee Olson seconded by Trustee Schobert that said Resolution be passed and adopted.
