The regular monthly meeting of the President and Board of
Trustees of the Village of Yorkville, Kendall County, Illinois
was held at the Village Hall of said Village on MondaJr August
it 1955 and was called to order by President Kapelsky at
7:30 o'clock P.M.
Finding present on roll call were President Kapelsky,Trustees
Windett, Hughes, Olsen, Randles, Schobert and Clerk Merkel.
Absent Trustee Olson.
Minutes of regular meeting held July5, 1955 and adjourned
meeting held July 20, 1955 were read and so ordered approved.
The regular monthly reports of the Clerk and Chief of Police
were read and so ordered approved.

On motion by Trustee Randles-Seconded by Trustee Windett that
the bills be referred to the Finance Committee and be paid if
found correct.

Following Building Permit Applications were read.
Aldee Johnson- To erect an addition on present dwelling house.
Jim Cookas- To erect a temporary wood frame, tarpaulin covered
stand on Sebby's Cities Service Property and a perm-
anent store building on the Southeast Corner Lot 9
of Addition to Block 6 Original Village of Yorkville.
Robert Jeter( Marriott) To erect canopy over rear door, west side
of house.
Kendall County Record- To erect a cement block addition on rear
of present building Bridge Street.
" On motion by Trustee Hughes- Seconded by Trustee Windett that
Zoning Officer issue building permits per applications above.
Roll Call- Ayes- Trustees Windett, Hughes, Olsen, Randles and
Schobert.
Nayes- None
Absent Trustee Olson.

After some discussion on water hook-ups- One motion by Trustee
Olsen- seconded by Trustee Windett that hereafter upon applicani
for a Water Permit it shall first be detewmined whether or not tle
applicant can receive water service from a line designated by the
Village as temporary or permanent. If such applicant can only be
served by a line designated as a temporary line then such permit
shall designate that such service is temporary and when in the
opinion of the Village a permanent line can service the Water Us
such temporary permit shall be revoked and the riser shall be re-
quired to apply for a Water Permit for service from a permanent
line.The property owner must bear a proportionate share of the
cost of the permanent water main aad before a permgnentLshall be
issued after the revocation of the temporary permit. rz

On motion by Trustee Randles, that the Village Clerk shall
receive all applications for water permits and designate whether
"Isuch permits shall be classified as temporary or permanent and t n
issue permits when proper after the approval of the Supt. of
; Water Works has first been obtained. Permits shall be made in
triplicate by the Clerk, one to applicant, one to Supt.of Water
" Works and one to Clerk. Above motion seconded by Trustee Hughes
' and favorable vote cast. Carried and so ordered.
