City Council Minutes 1955 06-06-55 June 6,1955 The regular monthly meeting of the President and Board of 'jam Trustees of the Village of Yorkville, Kendall County, Illinois was held at the Pillage Hall of said Village on Monday June 6, I 1955 and was called to order by President Kapelsky at 7;30 P.M. , Finding present on roll call were President Hapelsky, Trustees Windett, Hughes, Olsen, Olson, Randles, Schobert and Clerk Merke14 Minutes of the regular meeting held May 2, 1955 were read and so ordered approved. A application for Building Permit from Lydia Merkel for a ;tae feet by 28 foot two oar garage to be ereoted ' feet from `north lot line and 94 feet from front lot linewas read . On emotion by Trustee Olsen - Seoonded by Trustee Hughes that Zoning Officer issue this being permit. Carried and so ordered. A application for Building Permit from Walter Leifheit for a 20 foot by 20 foot garage on Lot 1 of part of Lot 4 was read. After discussion iii-was decided that as long as no sketch showing that garage was to be erected 30 feet from front lot line or ;State Street permit not to be granted. Zoning Officer was instrne I on Motion by Trustee Randles - Seconded by Trustee Olson that application submitted at this meeting be re-submitted along ' with required sketch and if found proper and due form be granted. Carried and so ordered. �I 4 A application for Building Permit to ereot a one story wood !frame,stone or brick front from Nriok Bierits was read After Mme discussion and on Motion by Trustee Olsen- Seconded by Trustee Hughes Clerk was instructed that sketch was in order, how " ever Lot Number was not shown therefore permit not to be issued `until proper Lot Number be re-submitted along with required sket® l�at which time and if found proper and due form be granted. Carried and so ordered. ' A letter of request to Rezone Farm to Business as per application from Walter and Blanche Olsen was read by Clerk. Motion by Trustee, Randles - Seconded by Trustee Windett that said application for I' iRezoning be referred to Zoning Board of Appeals for their consid- eration and report back to the Village Board their reecmmendatione . Roll Call- Ayes- Trustees Windett, Rughes, Olsen, Olson, Randles Sohobert.� Nayes- None. Carried and so ordered. { Clerk read AW the Annual Appropriation Ordinance for the 'Village of Yorkville appropriating funds for fiscal year. Upon Motion by Trustee Olsen-Seconded by Trustee Hughes that said ord- nance not tobe acted on at this time but to be laid over until ,next regular meeting of the Board of Trustees for public inspection, June 6, 1955 Roll Call- Ayes- Trustees Windett, Hughes, Olsen, Olson, Randles & Sch©be t Nayes- None Carried and so ordered. fl Frank Pennuto than discussed in great detail his sewerage ;problems of his Business House on East Van Emmon Street. Referred Ito Sewer Committee who shall make a report of their reeommendatious lat the neat regular Village Board Meeting. A discussion was held regarding - charging of a filing fee for application to rezone property in order that expenses of such ; hearings and publications might be met. Whereupon the following Resolution was read. ' Whereas; the Zoning Ordinance of the Village of Yorkville pro ` vides that the Village of Yorkville may by resolution establ sh fees for permits and applications for rezoning. And Whereas; it is necessary to charge a filing fee in order to defray the expense of having to re-zone property. Now Therefore Be It Resolved; that a filing fee of $15.00 shat 1be charges for each application to rezone property when said I application is presented to the Village Board. , And It Be Further Resolved; that no application shall be con- sidered until such time as the a-fore-said fee has been paid to ' the Village Clerk. On Motion by Trustee Hughes- Seconded by Trustee Olsen that- Iforegoing Resolution be passed and adopted. Meeting was adjourned on motion duly made, seconded and carried r Clerk President 43 E II y'. i June 23, 1955 Mr. Tom Liakakost Yorl�villeo Illinois Sirs Your applioation for Building Permit was recieved and read by the Village Clerk at the Village Board Meeting June 6, 1955. After much discussion it was decided by the Board of Trustees that as long as no sketch was submitted and a list and class of materials to be used in the I construction of this one story structure, no Building Permit would be issued. � Until a sketch of the structure along with the list and class of materials is submitted no action can be taken by the Board of Trustees on this particular Application for Building Permit.
