The regular monthly meeting of the President and Board of
;;Trustees of the Village of Yorkville, Kendall County , Illinois
Nwas held at the Village Hall of said Village on Monday March 7,
'1955 and was called to order by President Kapelsky at 730 o'clock
Finding present on roll call was President Kapelsky, Trkste s
' Windett, Hughes, W.Olsen, L.Olson and Acting Clerk Merkel.
Absent- Trustee Randles.
Minutes of the Regular Meeting of President and Board of
',Trustees of February 7, 1955 were read and so ordered approved.
The regular montly reports of the Clerk and Chief of Polioe �l,
$;were read and approved.

+ present building was read. After some discussion it was decided
I that as long as no sketch of exact location of addition in the
lot was submitted—with applicationp— Motion by Trustee Hughes—
Seconded by Trustee Olsen that the above application sumitted at
this meeting be re—submitted along with required sketch and if
found proper and due form be granted.

Supt. of Streets and Alleys and Water Works gave a very
detailed report of what the Street and Alley and Water Works
Departments have accomplished during month of February.
A disoussion was held on the advisability of charging 4
property owners a fee for sewer connections. After a full dis-
cussion Trustee Olsen presented the following Resolution;
Whereas, the Board of Trustees of the Village of Yorkville
deems it necessary and to the beat interests of the Village that
a fee be chhrged property owners for Sewer Connections.
Noetherfor, Be it Resolved, that hereafter it be the Policy
of the Village of Yorkville, Kendall County, Illinois with regar
to Sewer Connections, that said Sewer Connections , from Sewer
Mains to the Property Line , be financed on a Cost Plus Basis,
which shall include gravel, and 6 inch Glazed Tile of Cast Iron
Pipe, otheew$.terials which are necessary and the Village of
Yorkvillee,�,, the right to determine at what depth the pipe or
ji the shalt � in the ground, and that the ztnax pipe or the
shall be laid below water line and that the cost of the same
determingd as oforsaid be charged to the property owner so
effected and benefited.
Motion by Trustee Olsen— Seconded by Trustee Hughes that
forgoing Resolution be passed and adopted. II

}� Chief of Police Martyrs than stated that Kendall Township
is planning to rent a small tract of land in the countryto be
used as a dog pound which pound would be availabl• to the
Village of Yorkville.

Motion by Trustee Olsen— Seconded by Trustee Hughes that
Village of Yorkville purchase a x-►Scope, Detector Pipe Finder

from the Aurora Pomp Co. , Aurora Ills. in the amount of
$182.50 plus freight.
