City Council Minutes 1954 09-07-54 Yorkville, Illinois it Sept. 7, 1954 The regular monthly meeting of the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Yorkvillejendall County, Illinois was held at the Village Hall of said Village on Tuesday, Se t* 7, 1954 and was called to order by President Kapelsky at 739pm Finding; present on roll call were President Kapelsky., TrusteeO Price, Windett., Hughes, W.Olson and Clerk Merkel. Absent L.Olson and Randles(Trustees) Minutes of the regular meeting held August 2, 1954 wore read and so ordered approved. Monthly reports of the Clerk and (thief of Police were read and so ordered approved. Bills were then read as follows. The Annual Tax Levy Ordinance was read, having laidefrom � the previous regular board of trustee's meeting for public in- ' spection. On motion by Trustee Windett - seconded by Trustee ;Hughes that the Tax Levy Ordinance bq passed.and adopted. Roll Call. Ayes- Price, Windett, Hughes and W.Olsen. Nayes - None . Carried and so ordered. Clerk than read letter from Chief of Police Mart 'one day a week off and recommended that Village hire Special.estin ;Patrolman to handle traffics and guard children- crossing street, :;corner of Bridge and Hyraulic Sts.
