IkSPecT«IvI The matter of the rebuilding of the sidewalk on the west side of Route 47 was disoussed , tbe State of Illinois would rebuild the sidewalk if the Village/relinquiab future claims will on the State for repairs in the fu'are. On motion by Price ,seconded by Hugbes, that the proposal of the State of Illinois in regard to the removal and replaceme t of the sidewalk referred to in letters from R.T.Casb,District Engineer of May 27,1954 end dune 4, 1954 be accepted. Roll Call: Ayes; Prioe,Windett,Hugbes,Merkel,Olsen Nays ; None . Carried and so ordered. Two communications from Wm. H. Wagner were read and ordered placed on file . On motion by Olsen,seoonded by Merkel, that the Water Committee be autborized to obtain the necessary fittings to book up the new pump. Roll Call: Ayes Priee,Windett,Hugbes ,Merkel,Dleea. ` Nays; None I Carried and so ordered Yorkville ,I llinois June 7, 1854 The matter of a building code for the Village of Yorkville was discussed and referred to the Building and Zoning Committee. An applioation for a building permit for the addition od a porch was received from Leon L. Kapelsky and on motion by Hugbes ,secouded by Olsen, that the building permit be given. Carried and so ordered An application for permit to covert from a one family dwelli g to a two family dwelling was received from John Bebrens and on motion by Olsen,seoonded by Hugbes , that the permit be given. Carried and so ordered. An application for the addition of one room to bis present dwelling }souse was received from R.F. Marsball and on motion by Hugbes ,Seconded by Olsen, that the permission be given. Carried and so eatdered An application for building )ermit for the construction of a one family dwelling bouse was received from Paul Dirst and on motion by Hugbee ,seoonded by Olsen, that the permit be given. Carried and so ordered. The repair of sidewalks and ourbs was discussed and the following was tentatively arrived at as a basis of sharing of the cost . on existing sidewalks and Garbs -j- by Village & * by property owner, on new sidewalks and curbs to be at the expense of the property owner entirely. Flood apron(single drive.) -' by Village & -- by property owner. The matter of sidewalks and ourbs being referred to Street and Alley Committee for furtbet consideration.
