The adjourned regular meeting of the President and Board of
i' Trustees of the Village of Yorkville,Kendall County,Illinoie
jj was held at the Village Hall of said village on Monday,May 17,
1954 and called to order by President Kapelsky at 7:30 o1olook
P.M.

�! Finding present on roll call were President Kapelsky,Trustee
li Prioe,Windett ,Hughes ,Merkel,Olse:# and Clerk Ament .
E' Absent: Trustee Pehlke .
3 The resignation of Robert Pehlke as Member of the Board of
Trustees of the Village of Yorkville was read and on motion by
Windett,seeonded by Merkel, that the resignation of Robert
ii Pehlke be accepted.

Carried and so ordered.

A"communication from Wm. H. Wagner in regard the the return
j of a water deposit and another in regard expense on his building

i from the said Wm. H. Wagner were read and directed filed.
A communication from the Department of Public Forks and
I"! Buildings by its Director, E.A. Rosenstone in regard to the
I repair of the sidewalk along Route 47 was read and directed file
A communication from the Department of Public Works and
Buildings by its Asst. Director Troy A. Kost regarding the
j� erection of 4 way stop sighs at the inter section of Routes 71
and 126 was read and directed filed.

A communication from E.L. Campbell suggesting that a letter
�j of thanks and appreciation be sent to Mr. Kost for the erection
of the four way stop signs at the intersection of Routes 126 an
71 was read and on motion by Olsen, seconded by Hughes , that
_ a letter of appreciation be sent to 19r. Kost in the above matter

A letter of resignation as 'Village Clerk ,effective July 1$,
1954,from Delbert N. Ament was read and on motion by Prioe,
seconded by Merkel that the said resignation be accepted.

President Kapelsky appointed the following committees for
the current year;

President Kapelsky stated that since Trustee Peblke bad;.
resigned, tbe person appointed to fill bis vacancy on the Board
would be appointed to the same committees and in the same
capacities as indicated above for Peblke.
President Kapelsky reported in the matter of the James Hamill
' Alice Crawford automobile accident and stated that James Castello
sbould be warned in the matter of selling liquor to person wbo
are intoxicated.

Ij On motion by Prios,seconded by Olsen, that James Castello
be written a letter' of warning in regard to the selling of
liquor to
q persons wbo are into$icated(Tbia being a second warnin
to Castello for violation of the Liquor Ordinance) .
Carried and so ordered.
The Clerk's Annual°.Report of Estimates was read and on

otion by olsen,seconded by Windett , that Clerk's Annual Re_ptrt
of Estimates be accepted and placed on file .
Carried and so ordered.
There being no furtber business to come before the meeting,
the meeting was adjourned upon a motion duly made seconded and
carried.
