An ordinance entitled " AN ORDINANCE CtNCERRUG- DOGS"was read and one motion by Windett,seconded by Merkel, that the said dog ordinance be passed. To re-zone to a depth of 146 feet from residence district is to business district the east side of Bridge Street from the !I north line of Madison Street extended easterly to its inter- section with Bridge Street ,southerly along Bridge Street to the East and hest center line of Block 14 of the Original Town of Yorkville extended easterly to its intersection with Bridge Street,a distance of approximately 430 feet . �! President Kapelsky made the appointment,. of Edna Webster for a six year term to the Zoning Board of Appeals and appointed Jobn Behrens to the Zoning Board of Appeals for a seven year term. on motion by 7`indett ,seeonded by Merkel , that the appointment of Edna Webster and Jobn Behrens to the Zoning Board of Appeals , for the above mentioned terms , be approved. Carried and so ordered. ,: A letter of resignation as Nightwatcbman vas received from Josepb Eccles and on motion by Windett ,seconded by Price , that the said resignation be accepted and that the Clerk write j' a letter of thanks to Mr. Eccles . Carried and so ordered President Kapelsky nominated Marilyn Gauer for Village f Treasurer,ber bond to be fixed at 435,000.00,witb the provision that liability sball not extend to bank failures ,and ber salary shall be fixed at 4175.00 per vear,payable 55% from the Water fund and 45% from the General Fund. il Roll Call: President and Trustees voting jointly . President Kapelsky nominated Roger Weiss for Superintendent of Streets and Waterworks at the salary of $2,500.00 per year, payable 50% from the General Fund and 50% from the Water Fund. Roll Call- President and Trustees voting jointly. Ayes: Kapelsky ,Price ,Tindett ,Hagbes ,Merkel,Olsen. Kays : None The appointment of Roger Weiss for Superintendent of Streets and Water works was approved. President Kapelsky nominated Franklin Martyn Sr. for Chief of Police at the salary of $2,160.00 per year ,plus expense of 4840.00 per year for oar operation ,tbis being at the rate of 0180.00 per month salary and 070.00 per month for oap .a$pense.
