City Council Minutes 1953 09-14-53 Yorkville,Illinois September 14, 1953 The regular monthly meeting of the President and Board of $� Trustees of the Village of Yorkville , Kendall County ,Illinois was held at the Village Hall of said Village on Monday ,Septembe 14, 1953(September 7, 1953 being labor Day ,a legal holiday) qn d ` was called to order by President Kapelsky at 7:30 o 'clock P.M. Finding present on roll call were President Kapelsky , is Trustees Price,Windett,Hugbes,Peblke ,Merkei3Olsen and Clerk Ament{r. Absent: None. Minutes of the regular meeting beld August 3, 1953 and of the adjourned meeting bell August 12, 1953 were read and so ;I tordered approved. Jollie of the State Sanitary Water Board were present and discussed with the Board the matter of the creation of a sanitary district and sewage disposal plant construction and the necessary proceedaret. f'. A contract witb the State of Illinois for leasing of a li certain plot of state property f or a dump for the Village of Yorkville was read and on motion by Trustee �'rice ,seconded by Trustee Peblke , that the said contract be approved . it The meeting was adjourned on a motion duly made seconded and carried. t � C er Presiden k. l I ii i II I II i I �I Yorkville,Illinois October 7, 1953 I� RESOLUTION j WHEREAS ,The State of Illinois has agreed to lease to the Village of Yorkville a certain tract of State !' owned property along the Fox River in Kendall County at a rental of $50.00 per annum,to be used by the Village for the purpose of dumping; AND WHEREAS , it is the opinion of the Board of TrusteesI of the Village of Yorkville that it is to the best interests 1 of said Village that the land be leased from the State and used for dumping, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Village of Yorkville shall lease from the State of Illinois at a rental of $50.00 per annum a tract of property located laawbp& along the Fox River in Kendall County for the purpose of dumping, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED , that Leon L. Kapelsky,The President of the Board of Trustees,is directed and he is hereby authorized to sin said lease from the State of Illinois �I on behalf of the Village of Yorkville. � 'I Ei I e; i it
