Bids were received from Davis Construction Co., and Dempsey Ing., Inc. for the north
sewer and water project. After research into the construction ratings, the Bonding
Company and the 1992 Financial statements, Don recommended Dempsey Ing., Inc.
2. WILDWOOD-PHASE II
A letter (8-30-93) was sent to Charles Stading at the Yorkville National Bank
informing him that Wildwood, Phase II has completed the water, sanitary sewer, storm
sewer and the paving improvements and asked that the Letter of Credit be reduced to the
10% retainage figure until September 1, 1994.
3. ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING FEE FOR COLLECTION OF DELINQUENT UTILITY BILLS
The additional charge of $25.00 for delinquent customer was discussed. Don estimated
that LuAnn's hourly rate and the cost of the coupons is justification for the charge.
Don requested purchasing 200 coupons (transmittals) from Transworld Systems at a
cost of $7.95 each. ($1,590.00) The coupons are good for two years.
Don suggested that we revise the Water Ordinance to require renters to make a deposit
before water would be turned on.
4. 47-71 INTERCEPTOR PERMITS
Don is working on the permits.
5. TRAFFIC LIGHT
Pavia and Marting informed Don that the traffic signal design would cost approximately
$4,265.00 instead of $2,500.00 as originally proposed. Don was authorized to have
Pavia Marting begin the project up to the $2500.00 limit and to proceed to get a design
from IDOT for Pavia.

1 8. CROSS WALK ON ORANGE
Jack Magnesun said that there would be no insurance coverage without a sidewalk on the
