under the impression there would not be a problem with a septic or a caveat system on the property
north of the rail road tracks. Don Peck researched the city records and found no formal approval.
Mr.Stuck and Mr. Mueller requested that the council consider the whole area north of the tracks as one
and go with caveat system for the eight lots, and asked the committee to grant them a variance. They
were informed a public hearing would have to be held and that variances are not granted a committee
meetings.
Don suggested that the council not vary the sewer ordinance, his recommendation was to go with injector
system and felt that the EPA would approve that. Don had a copy of permit which listed what is
needed for completion. Mr.Stuck and Mr.Mueller were informed they would have to get the
information for a variance request to Don before noon on Tuesday,July 13,as a variance requires a
hearing and this has to be published.
