ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS
APRIL 25, 1994 7;00 PM

ZBA 94-2 Petition for Variance - Section 6 . 02 . One family residence
district, D.3, "a rear yard of not less than 40 feet" . The
application requests a variance as permitted under 13.06A, "to
permit any yard or setback less than, but by not more than 25%.
Petition filed by Thomas and Sandra Lindblom, 408 W. Fox Rd. for
variance of rear yard setback to be reduced from 40 ' to 301 .
Chairman Pro-Tem Mike Skinner called the meeting to order at 7 :02
PM. He is chairing the meeting in place of Martin Behrens who is
ill . He introduced the new Zoning Board of Appeals member Bob
Wenman.
Roll was called and present were Bob Wenman, Curt Medin and Mike
Skinner. Not present were Martin Behrens, Ken Mandle, Greg Huber
and Larry Beach. It was announced that a quorum was not present.
Also present were Harold Feltz and Tom and Sandy Lindblom.
As there was no quorum, no public hearing could be held.
Tom Lindblom stated that he is planning on putting a 20 ' x 32 '
addition on his house and is asking for a 30 ' yard setback. Part
of the area is now a patio and the new addition will not affect
water runoff. Adjoining property owner Harold Feltz stated he had
no objections to this variance. Tom Lindblom stated that adjoining
property Ron Benninger had called him and stated he also had no
objection to this variance.
ZBA members Curt Medin, Bob Wenman and Mike Skinner see no
objections to the variance.
Chairman Pro-Tem Skinner stated those present recommend that the
City Council approve the variance.
Meeting was adjourned at 7 : 15 PM.
