Park Board Minutes 2001 06-25-01 YorkwMe Parks&Recreation Park and Planing Meeting-Park Board Miaates Jaac 25,2001 Prior to the start of the meeting Ken Groetsch,of Wayne Mfg_Chariton Iowa,presented information and a display of the holiday decorations manufactured by the firm. Decorations come with either 14 gape or a molded socket wiring harms,and carry a four season nan-prorated guarantee. All are wired for 110. Pole mounting brackets are made of 3/8"hot rolled.steel. The decoration includes an angle iron bracket that slips directly into the pole bracket for easy banging. Now Board Member- Mayor Prochaska reported to the board that Ken Koch,board candidate and a readwt in Greenbrier subdivision,well be voted on at Tlnusday's City Council meeting. of Plaques- The oalso informed the board that presentation of plaques will take place at the July 2e City Council meeting. Plaques will be presented to members of the library board and the park board who are reaming or vdxose terms have expired. Saperi eendent of Pants- Lisa reported that she recently spoke wish J.T.Jolmsaan who informed her that Scott Sleezzer has turned down the position. Also that the board wants to see some action toward protecimg the members of the league as vM1 as the Parks and Rec,if the board is to contimm its cooperative sbatimg of facilities as well as its financial support. She shared that she would like to plan some eompetban days at the skate park before the end of the ammw season to encourage increased activity at the perk.
