GUESTS...
Stough Group—Senior Apartment Housing—Jim Bilotta with the Stough Group showed the Board the
plans for the Senior Apartments, south of Rt. 71 and east of Rt_47. The plans now show a trail north of the
apartments, near a wetland area. The trail is Shown to be 8 feet wide, about 600 feet of trail. The widest part
is 150 feet across.
The Board expressed concern about the 8-foot width, and questioned the linking of this trail to the ComEd
easement and any linking to Rt. 47, The Board also stated to Jim that"IF"the trail was accepted for credit it
might be increased to 10 feet wide. The Stough Group has an obligation of approx. $24,000 in land cash.
The Board will continue to discuss the proposal and work it into the trail plan if they reel it would benefit the
entire system.
Youth Baseball/Softball Association—Tony Parece wanted to ask the Board if they have decided to help
financially with the maintenance of the ball diamonds. Tony showed the Board an updated version of
proposed prices for ball mix and turface_ The school is able to spend about$3,000 now;the YYBSA is able
to spend about$4,000 or$5,000. The cities money would help improve Fields 1,2,3,4,and 5.
Lisa motioned to purchase ball mix and turface, not to exceed $4,000 from land cash. Dave Cathey
seconded_ Bill-yes, Dave-yes. Lisa-yes. Motion passed.
Sue expressed Concern of how much mix will be placed on Field 3 and 4, knowing that those fields are
proposed to be moved to a different location next year. The Board agreed to ask Sue to be the contact for
Tony to use before placing the mix on the fields. Sue and Tony will have a meeting with the A.D.from the
High School to plan the schedule needed to get the maintenance done. Sue will inform J.T. on the timeline
