PARK BOARD MINUTES
Call to Order:
The meeting was call to order at 7:08 p.m.
Roll Call:
Dave Dockstader,Julie Bromann, Steve Bridge, Dave Schmelzle.
BUDGET FOR 1997-98
Discussion took place about the new budget and it was asked to have an executive session at the
next Board Meeting to discuss salaries.
A revised proposed budget was reached by the Board members.
Dave D. left the meeting at 8:15p.m. -a quorum was still met.
Steve explained how to lay out the budget to better understand as far as fixed expenses and
variable expenses. He also moved items to separate Park items from Recreation items. He
showed how the general transfer should cover salaries and other fixed items. The numbers were
changed and rearranged to balance.
Steve motioned to approved the revised budget. Dave S. seconded-Julie,yes. Steve-yes,Dave
S.-yes. Motion passed.
The School agreement issue was mentioned so that Sue,Dave S. and Julie were prepared to meet
with Dr. Engler next week.
Meeting adjourned at 8:55 p.m.
