Park Board Minutes 1990 05-14-90 Park Board Meeting May . 14 , 1990 Meeting was called to order by Steve Bridge, Pres. Minutes were distributed. Members present : Steve Bridge, Cindy Davidson , Dave Dockstader , Dave Schmelzle, Mary K. Price, Larry Small council Rep. was absent . Ann Scholl and Becky Johnson from the Recreation Dept . were present. Dave Schmelze is going to plan what is needed for the landscaping around the Beecher Building. He will use the $250 . 00 from Pulfers to purchase the bushes as part of his project. Steve Bridge made motion Ann purchase typewriter not to exceed $200 .00 . Second carried. Dave Dockstader moved to purchase copy machine PC7 for no more than $1100 . 00 . Second carried. 150 a copy will be charged for all outside Rec. Dept . Ann reported we received $9 . 62 from Twin Oaks Vending. Parking on grass east of Beecher was discussed. Steve will contact Larry Small for permission to place "No Parking On Grass" in this area. Steve Bridge will contact the Matlock twins with information on benches they are to build. Additional information on the Gazebo has not reached us . Steve will contact Dean Fisher . Ann reported the metal storage boxes are on the fields . Keys are being made. The Board was pleased with her new record keeping and advertisement for Summer classes. 2 . Ann is to again get cost of installation of another phone. Cost we have now is $ 100 .00 - $20 .00 per month. Steve Bridge will get information on style of phone needed. Carolyn Bown asked the Park Board to remove plants and bushes they needed from the library. Dave Schmelzle will talk with Michelle Pfister . Cost of classes was discussed. Keep track of Non-residence for summer classes . Possibly a fee for late registation was dicussed. Cindy Davidson suggested the Rec. Dept. taking over the golf outing. This was discussed-Recreation for older population would be a good addition. Providing girls can handle the extra telephoning. More discussion later .
