Ceal Sanders came back with a suggestion to take a small space at the SE corner of the Perkins Room for their needed extra space. The Sr. Services group will be getting some money to finance a project of this nature. The Board, however, feels that it would better serve the purposes of the Sr. Services group to stay in the Austin Room where they are, and to partition-off thEeast 1/3 -of that room. They could re-locate their office furni ure into one central location instead of having in spread all over the room. This would also make the room more attractive to groups holding meeting and small parties in there. Ceal said that she would check into the cost of having the room remodeled-divided into such d space. 4 . Insurance for Karate Class. Stormy has been informed that we need a separate insurance policy for the Karate Class , even if there is no contact/sparing involved. Nor do the children leave the building since they are not involved in any competition. The insurance is $750. 00. Gary Bown wil ask the City attorney if he knows of any reason why our regular insurance would not cover this class since it really is more of an exercise class thayi a martial arts class.
