The intersection has bean the place of many accidents. Wrtb this in mind, I-D.O.T has determined that the best way to the intersection would be to close the north end of Bristol Rd and to create a culdesac- re would be a left hand turn lane created to enter onto Walnut St from Route 47, I.D.0.T. did not &0 that the interwx6on warranted a stop light. The end of Walnut St. mould be- stra*htencd ow, a left turn lane would be added to haute 47 and the north cad of Bristol Rd wed be changed to a culdesac. With ID.p.T, nuking the reconmendations on the intersection, the funding for this project would fall under a State A*ded Safty Proxam.
