COW Minutes 1996 01-18-96 JAN-30-1586 08:24 YORKVILLE NATIONAL BANK P•02 M City of Yorkville Committee of the Whole January 18, 1996 Meeting present: Burt Callmer, Jeff Baker, Jeff Spang, Art Prochaska, Kathy Jones, Richard Scheffrahm, Jim Stafford, Paul Burde, Tony Graff, Bill Schmanski, Cindy Ketcham, Bob Johnson, Jim Naninga, Brian Effingham, Dan Kramer, J.T. Johnson, and Bobbie Erdman. Bobbie Erdman was introduced to the Committee of the Whole. She will be working for the City of Yorkville to "Market" information and to research leads on new business coming into the Yorkville area. Codification Ordinance-Needs to be adopted enabling the ordinance to take into consideration on what has been done and what will need to be done in the City of Yorkville for the future. it will be brought for vote on January 25. Wan-Mmon Property-Horton Sale-There is property on Van Emmon that is to be sold, with the proceeds to be used for the re-building of the park and the ball diamonds on van Emmon St. It will be brought to council on January 25. Earthmovers Credit Union-Need to drag up a resolution for February 1. Land, Cash Ordinance-Needs to have an attachment added and brought to Council January 25. Sign Comi.ttee Appointmnts-Persons recommended for terms are as follows: Gary Rice 4 years (chairman) Candy Foringer 1 year Howard Manthie 2 years Joel ottosea 3 years Janet Dhuse 3 years This will be added to the agenda for January 25. on Saturday morning, there will be a tus tour to Mattison to view a subdivision. The bus will leave the Beecher Center at 8 :30 AM and should return around noon. There will be members present from The Yorkville National Bank, The Bank of Yorkville, and also John Purcell will attend. JAN-30-1996 08:25 YORKVILLE NATIONAL BANK P.03 f w Plano Mayor Sue Nessozl has asked to postpone the joint meeting until March. The suggested date was March 16 . There has been a letter drafted to seixd to Mr. Gary Bown with reference to the placement of street lights in the Countryside Subdivision. The letter was Bread and approved to be mailed. There will be a meeting set up to discuss a possible engineer position and for an increase of Public Wanks employees. The meeting will be held on January 29th at 7 :00 PM. The Building Permits report, showing $13, 900, 000 in permits, for December 1995 will be presented January 25, for approval . The next Public Safety meeting will be held on January 24, at 6 :30. There will be meetings held on Wednesdays for the presentation of information on the "New" School Referendum. On February 5, Lane westen will be on the agenda for Public works. D.A.R.S.
