DISCUSSION ( IDENTIFY BY NUMBER) 1.) Dick Huston provided a description of duties that will be carried out by the new AccountLZ Clerk. All but Pat Clark and Bob Fey ao?eed that advertisement for the pncitinn should begin as soon as possible An ad will run in the Kendall County Record and possibly one in the Beacon. The new position will pay $7.50 - $9.00/hr. and will be a full-time position. 2.) June 26th there will be a Cruise Night at McDonalds. Mr. Corwin and Mr. Deane have nida.ve "overflow" parking in the area behind McDonalds. 3.) Chief Graff said that the Gang Awareness Seminar is coming along nicely. There have recently been two gang-related incidents that have related to Yorkville in one way or anothar Rill Rai rd s>>ggPsted jaci ti ng a "mission" statement regarding the city's stand on gangs and gan-related incidents 4_)_ There will be a negotation meeting regarding the police bargaining unit on June 22nd with all of the related personnel and attorneys 5.) Commitee voted (by a majority) to use the new marking. Police Committee will meet to discuss specific colors, sizes etc 7_) Roh Fey brought information from the State of Illinois Dept of Convservation regarding Boat Access Area Development Program. It is a state-financed program. There is a $2,000 grant application fee. The Public Property and Buildings Comm. will look into long term costs such as insurance costs. A proposed ordinance was passed ollt whinh will serve as a revision of the =resent zoning ordinance to create additional special use under B-2 zoning; in regard to Dean Fisher's property. Bill Baird will check on the EPA standards regarding this situation 24.) Don estimated $20,000 for the necessary construction on Somonauk St. 25.) Don recommended allowing a monetary recognition for Joe Moore and J.T. Johnson!s O completion of Class A Water Operator's License This will be brought up to Council within the next couple of meetings. RECOMMENDATIONS ( IDENTIFY BY SAME NUMBER AS ABOVE) 26.) Cost will be approximately $100. Council gernerally okayed this proposal, although approval is not necessary because the cost is under $500. 30.) Don Peck stated that another city vehicle is needed.
