1.) John Nelson, Andre Aresvault, Art Prochaska, and Tricia Rutherford came to discuss the
installation of. - stop signs and Children Playing signs in the 2nd ward on Jackson St.
Park St. Elm St, Freemont St, and others. Don Peck, Tony Graff, and Jack Jones analyzed
the area and have made up a map with suggestions of where to place new signs Don will
bring an enlared map to show council members on the 18th and the placement of the signs
will be discussed with the streets and alleys connittee
_ 2.) Andre Arsevault also asked about the water ban. Don Peck said he didn't anticipate that
_ it will last all summer.
3.) Dr. Roger Hatcher, Dr. Karen Lloyd, and Mary Gentile came to discuss the prposed Employee
AssistannP and Wellness Program that would benefit the police department Individual
members will consider this proposal and discussion will be continued at the next camitte(
meeting.
4.) Arlan Vollman asked if Council would allow for solicitation of funds for Dolalrs Against
Diabetes (DAD) at Rt. 4 7 47 from 930 am till 2.00 p.m. June 20. Council. will vote
next week and Chief Graff will notify Mr. Vollman next Friday, June 12.
-5.) Pat Clark asked about Eric's Auto Repair, a business that is supposed to be closed down

owner is awaiting parts for this car.
_l Pat Clark alsn reported that the owner of the new Flea Market business downtown has
installed plumbing, electric, and walls without a permit. An official of the City will
look into this.
-.) Luanne has reisnged the position of Deputy Clerk Ken Kittoe has a person in mind
to fill tYlis position and he will discuss this with Council after he speaks-to this
_8.) Ken Kittoe asked council to consider ideas regarding an increase in parking lot at the

12.) Mayor Kittoe initiated discussion on the possibility of a water ban. Mayor Kittoe asked

19.) Well update - motor has been checked and is Qlay. Don will inspect the pipes on Monday.
The well should be operative by June llth.
20.) Culvert on S. Main should be installed June 5th.
21.) There have been many complaints regarding the landscaping on Spring St. Don Peck has
contacted the contractor and it will be corrected.
Chief Graff passed out the estimate for setting up the new squad car. The cost will be
