_1.) Cliff Jahp explained the recycling program that is being used in the City of Aurora.
Stickers are purchases for $1.00 each to be placed on solid waste bags Bags with
recyclables are no extra charge, thus providing an incentive for recycling,
2.) Steve Bridge asked if it would be possible to increase Ann Scholle's hours at the
Reecher Center from 29 }-lour, per week to 40 hours per week This charge is noted in the
Park Rna I g h-nQse l budget-
Lloyd Yepsen requested a variance which would allow him to not build a sidewalk on his
property at the end of Mill St, As there are no other sidewalks on the street, he does
not see the necessity for installation.
4.) The Environmental Action Coalition (EAC) has registered to solicit in Yorkville.
The solicitation will be mostly information, but donations will be accepted It is in
regard to the 1992 Earth Day parade and fair in Montgomery on April 26
_5__) _ A letter was receivxl from Michael Ay- ilar of the Illinois Public Action Council
stating that they will be cavassing door-to-door as part of the campaign for
Toxic Safety. Council will look into the legality of the proposed canvass
6.) On April 3 there will be a American Disability Act seminar in Naperville. Chief Graff
and Delene Drew will attend.
7,) Breslin and Rom-Rymer, ltd, a psychological service group, will give a presentation at
the April 2 meeting. It will explain a stress management program available for police
officers involved in serious accidents such as being shot, coming in contact with HIV
virus, etc.

q_ 1 Ram Niles, the developer of Prarie Park subdivision, offered to pay t�,000 00
for installation of three street lights that the city requested by installed in the
subdivision. Discussion will continue at a later date.
10.) The Bowling Alley proposal passed the Planning Commission.
11.) Wholesale Tire will come to next month's Planning Conmmission Meeting.
12.) The City is advertising for a sewer jet and a v box spreader in order to determine the
estimated costs.
13.) Jones Cable called and okayed cable access at the library and the police station.
14.) Don Peck discussed a possible solution for the intersection of Rt. 47 and Elizabeth
St Tn the Drop g sal, Elizabeth will be extended to intersect with Rt. 47 and the present
intersection will be blocked off. This proposal has been presented to IDOT for approval.

ing installation of sidewalks.
