Mr Tahp reminded the Committee that the Executive Minutes need to he
reviewed Tt was decided that copies of the minutes will be given to
each Alderman for review, then they will be discussed in a closed
meeting.

the positinn of City Administrator Mr. Kramer stated that he didn ' t
hel i eve this was ner'essary, as this position i s held by a city empl yee,
not a City Official ( i .e. Mayor , Clerk, etc. )
3 . ) Two items were brought to Planning Commission. Both were recommended
for approval contingent. to clauses given by the Planning Commission.

` .L Mr . Kramer suggested that Council should not be involved with the civil
dispute between two sisters who own adiacent property on River Road near
the PNA Cam,
6 . ) Mr . Jahp told Committee that the Yorkvile Public Library is considering
becoming a Library District . Jahp asked Committee to consider this so
it can he disrusspd in the future and the Committee opinion can be given
to the T,ihrary Rnard _
7 . ) Jack Jones asked about the condition of a couple of streets east of
Mc911gh Rnad nalp WnodWnrth thought that these roads still need a final
pavement. Don Peck will look into this .

$�) ,Tack Tones told Committee that one of his constituants would like
information on how to go about opening a tavern in the City. Mr . Kramer
said that this may not he possible because of a state law regarding the
nuzbor of t.al-r-rus allowed in a r-i ty with a small population. Mr. Jones
will discuss this situation with Mayor Kittoe .

Funeral Home, confronted Mr . Kramer with the fact that part of
City Hall is sitting on his property. Mr . Kramer will research to see
if it is necessary to purchase the land from him_

13 . ) Pat Clark reported on the Police Commission meeting. She said that the
38 applications for Chief of Police hay - been divided between Mayor
Kittoe , Mr . Fahrlander , and herself for review. After "weeding out"
some applications , the final 5-10 applicants will be interviewed by
Gemmeit and possibly v he rh x e F-r v ff � n

Mayor Kittoe mentioned that this will -be- an intricate process that
may take a few weeks because of the similar credentials of the appli-
cants .
14. ) Rill Baird relayed to Council that thev would like to build a restroom/
storaae building near the baseball fields near the High School football

15 Don Peck Paid that there would he a $4400 _00 root for the aerial view
contour maps necessary for use in studying drainage and other such
situations. This will be discussed in the future .
16 . ) The recapture payment for the land south of Landmark Car Wash will be

of part of a sewer line on Coltnn St . The bill will he presented
at Council next week
19 . ) A letter was r ceived from a woman who believes Yorkville should
have a more intense recycling program. This was discussed and will
be brought up again after some research is completed on this tonic.
20 . ) There was discussion on the condition of well #3 in downtown
Yorkville and the question of who is responsible for its condition
and how it will be repaired was discussed . Mayor Kittoe and Mr.
