DISCUSSION ( IDENTIFY BY NUMBER)
1) The Alime's came to assure committee that the Alimes are aware that they are responsible
for the sewage conditions at the restaurant they are rebuilding.
2) Necessity for sidewalks on Freemont and Central Parkway was discussed. Mr. Kramer will
find out who is responsible for the cost of installing these.
3) In regard to Chatman's property, it cannot presently be completely repaired due to the
moistness of the ground. It will be partially repaired, though.
4) There has been a complaint by a homeowner on Liberty regarding cars that park on the
side of the street. "No Parking - Fire Lane" signs may be installed to prevent this.
Issue will go to Council.
5) Regarding Economic Development - it was suggested that Jack Purcell or Roy Deane"from
Countryside Center be invited to a committee meeting to discuss development of vacant
stores at Countryside Center.
6) Regarding a complaint about the condition of Washington St. ; Mr. Fey and Mayor Kittoe
will check out the street and assess its condition.
7) It was suggested by Mr. Barna that the crossing guard who works the cross at 47 &
Somonauk St. be moved to a crossing across 126. Cost of transferring lights and where
the walk should be will be discussed with the school board.
8) Flooding across 47 and toward Bob Lee's property needs to be prevented. This will e
looked into and discussed w/Mr. Davis.
9) Regarding the "Yorkville" sign at the Shopper that's missing a y and an ttee
will check w/Masons and Lions Club to see who owns it and is responsible g it.

placement manual.
