Price Steve Franks MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING OF THE YORKVILLE PLAN COMMISSION 28 AUGUST 1979 Chairman Robert Coleman called the August meeting of the Yorkville Plan Commission to order. Those in attendance were Dr. Coleman, Mr. Feltz, Mr. Langland, Mr. Dollman, Mr. Woodworth, Mr. Franks, Mr. Dick Alexander and Mr. Beach. Mr. Feltz moved to approve the minutes of the July meeting and was seconded by Mr. Langland, All present moting aye. 79.21 Amendment to Planned Unit Development — Sawasko and Whalen Attorney James Wilson, representing the petitioners, submitted a letter from fire chief Russ Devick which stated that he had reviewed the plans for the PUD and that there would be no problems with providing fire protection to the development. Attorney Wilson stated they had received BOCA approval, maintenance provisions had been spelled out, landscaping and lighting plans were completed, and that regarding placement of the buildings, the plans had been opened up as suggested by Mr. Clarage. Mr. Langland asked when the builder would relinquish control to the association. Mr. Sawasko responded this would be done at three quarter's completion. Dr. Coleman stated according to the minutes, our previous points have been answered i.e., 1. BOCA approval 2. plans had been opened up 3. approval from the fire chief 4. landscaping and lighting plans. Mr. Langland then moved to recommend approval of the amendment to the planned unit development and was seconded by Mr. Feltz. All members voting aye. Motion carried. 79.22 Preliminary Plat — Harker Hills Mr. Langland noted that according to the current drawing, there was still...not enough easement for a frontage road and that he felt the frontage road should be continued through the property. He noted that streets goiig in and out of Yorkville will soon be as congested as Rt 34 (Ogden Ave.) if we do not provide better pl&-ming. Mr. Feltz noted this had been the purpose for the Rte 34 Corridor Study. Mr. Dollman noted that all drainage was to the rear of the property. A soil and water conservation report had not been submitted to date. Mr. Dick Alexander (Clarage and Associates) submitted a "City of Yorkville — Plan Commission/Planner — Official Plan Evaluation to all plan commission members. Mr. Langland moved to adjourn the meeting and was seconded by Mr. Feltz. Meeting adjourned.
