Olsen Harold Feltz James Kenton Richard Groner Dale Woodworth MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING OF THE YORKVILLE PLAN COMMISSION JUNE 24 1975 Chairman Robert Coleman called the meeting to order. Those in attendance were Dr. Coleman, Mr. Woodworth, Mr. Langland, Mr. Feltz, Mr. Mahoney, Mr. Groner and Mr. Clark Bartell. Mr. Mahoney moved to approve the minutes of the 3 June 1975 meeting and was seconded by Mr. Langland. All present voting aye. Motion carried. 75.1.9 Glen Davidson Proposed Subdivision — Final Plat Mr. Davidson, who owns property at the northeast corner of the intersection of Bridge Street and Somonauk Streets was represented by Attorney Max Peterson. Mr. Peterson stated that a petition had been filed last february asking for two things: 1) that the proposed subdivision and preliminary plat be approved and 2) zoning as it Oxisted be realigned so that lots three and four be zoned business and lots one and two be zoned residential. At that time the planning commission had approved both petitions but the Zoning Board of Appeals and the City Council denied the petition to rezone. Mr. Peterson stated they now wanted approval for the final plat only. Mr. Langland moved to recommend approval of the final plat and was seconded by Mr. Feltz. All present voting aye. Motion carried. Route #34 Corridor Study Mr. Harold Feltz passed out minutes of the Route #34 Corridor meeting held 18 June 1975 at Plano. At the meeting, Mr. John Kinley presented the final copies of the Land Use maps which were discussed in detail. Mrs. Alvin Peterson, who lives on Park Street on the north side of Yorkville, made an inquiry regarding property on that street. She stated that a garage had been turned into a residence and asked if this was a legal residence. Dr. Coleman stated that she should take the matter up with her alderman who would refer it to the city council or police department for action. Mr. Clark Bartell stated that they are waiting for comments or corrections from the planning commission and city council before typing the final draft. They will have the final draft at the July planning commission meeting. Mr. Mahoney moved to adjourn the meeting and was seconded by Mr. Feltz. All present voting aye. Meeting adjourned. r
