MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING OF THE YORKVILLE PLAN COMMISSION
FEBRUARY 27, 1973
The meeting was called to order by Mr. Anderson. Those in
attendance were Mr. Anderson, Mr. Mahoney, Mr. Langland, Mr.
Olsen, Mr. Madden, Mr. Schneider and Mr. Dollman.
Mr. Mahoney made a motion to approve the minutes as mailed,
seconded by Mr. Langland. All voting aye . Motion carried.
2.01 Pre-annexation agreement , Dale Kissel
Developer Dale Kissel and his attorney Edwin Simpson ap-
peared before the commission with plans for a 60 acre develop-
ment on the south edge of Yorkville. The development would
include single family, multi-family and commercial areas . Mr.
Olsen made a motion to table the agreement until the commission
members could discuss the plans with the newly acquired city
planning consultant, seconded by Nor. Dollman. All voting aye.
Motion carried.
2.02 Unit 4 Fox Lawn - Final Plat
This property includes 15 lots , outside of but within one
and a half miles of the city limits, in Kendall Township on
Fox Road. Er. "ahoney made a motion to recommend approval of the
final plat, seconded by Mr. Dollman. Voting: Mr. Anderson, yes ;
Mr. Mahoney, yes ; Mr. Langland, yes ; Mr. Olsen, yes ; Mr. Dollman,
yes ; and Mr. Schneider, abstain. Motion carried.
2.03 Country.—View Subdivision-Final Plat
This is a 13 acre subdivision in Oswego Township, outside
but within one and a half miles of the city limits . Yr. Mahoney
made a motion to recommend approval of the final plat, seconded
by Mr. Olsen. Voting: Mr. Anderson, yes ; Mr. Mahoney, yes ; Mr.
Langland, abstain; Mr. Olsen, yes ; Mr. Schneider, ,yes ; and Mr.
Dollman, no Motion carried.
Mr. Mahoney made a motion to draft a letter to the County
Building and Zoning Officer stating that the YorkvillePlan Com-
mission appreciates the courtesy of referring planning and zoning
matters within one and a half miles of the city limits to them,
but ask that in the future such referrals, of all steps including
preliminary plats, be reffered to the Plan Commission 10 days prior
to the regularly scheduled meeting to allow the item to be put on
the agenda. This was seconded by Mr. Schneider. All voting aye.
Motion carried.
` 2.04 Unit 7 Countryside Subdivision - Final Plat
• This property includes 33 lots , all for single family homes .
Mr. Mahoney made a motion to recommend approval of the final plat,
seconded by Mr. Olsen. Voting: Mr. Anderson, yes ; Mr. Mahoney,
yes ; Mr. Langlard, yes ; Mr. Olsen, ,yes ; Mr. Schneider, yes ; and
Mr. Dollamn, yes . Motion carried.
The meeting was duly adjourned and. closed .
