MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING OF THE YORKVILLE PLAN COMMISSION

the meeting was called to order by Mr. Anderson. The
newly appointed member, Harold Feltz, was welcomed to the com-
mission. He will fill_ the vacancy left by Mr. Ford's resignation.
Those in attendance were Mr. Anderson, Mr. Mahoney,
1•• r. Langland , Mr. Olsen., Mr. Madden, Mr. Schneider, Mr. Dollman and
Mr. "eltz.
Tre min;;.tes were apfroved as mailed.
Members drew lots to determine the duration of their
tertire cn the commission as of May 1 , 19 73. The length of terms
will be Mr. Schneider, one , ear; kr. Mahoney and Mr. Anderson.,
two years; Mr. Langland and Mr. Dollman, three gears ; and Mr.
Feltz and 14r. Olsen., four years. All terms will. expire on Apf°il
30 of the dseignated year.
1.01 _ Countryside Center Subdivision.
Developer Robert Loftus presented a preliminary plat
for construction of 20 fotir unit apartment buildings in an area of
Coi:r.tr-side Center Subdivision bounded by Kendall Drive, Countryside
Parkwa-1 anc?Center Parkwa--. The developer is petitioning to re-
sill-divide. Plannirg Consultant James B. Clarage pointed out that
the rreliminar-7 plat needed tonograrh,r and that the space allowed
between the buildings for parking was not sufficient. Mr. Dollman
made a motion to table the petiticn_ for one month, seconded by
Yr. Langland . Votirg: Mr. Anderson. -es, V:r. A,"ahonet• yes, Mr. Lang-
land -es , Mr. Dollman yes . Mr. Sc"neider yes , Mr. Feltz yes, and
Mr. Olsen 1:7'es. Motion. carried .
Mr. lahoney made a motion to enforce an existing city
ordinance which states that in order to receive action at the
regl)lar monthly: meeting of the Yorkville Plan: Commission, developers
mrst sill-mit bll;errints or exhibits for their developments, along
with s,) `'icient copies for commission members, to the city office
at leas twenty darts prior to the meeting. This was seconded by
Air. Olsen. All voting aye. Motion carried.
Mr. Clarage suggested that the commission members attend
a seminar on Developmental Control and Growth Policy June 22 and
23 in Zion. Mr. Schneider made a motion to sen Mr. Anderson and
Mr. Madden to the seminar, with. Mr. Mahoney as an alternate, this
was seconded by Mr. Langland. All voting aye. Motion carris.
