Olsen 114"xs"473w Lawrence Langlar_d Elden Madden Fred Dollman Harold Feltz Dennis Fauth MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING OF THE YORKVILLE PLAN COMMISSION JULY 24, 1973 The meeting was called to order by Mr. N ahoneyat 7 :30 p.m. Those in attendance were : fir. Mahoney, Mr. Olsen, Mr. Dollman, Mr. Fauth, Mr. Madden and Mr. Clarage, planning consultant. Mr. Olsen made a motion to approve the June minutes, seconded by Mr. Dollman. All voting afire. l=otion carried. Mr. Mahonev intorduced the commissions's new member, Dennis Fauth, who is to serve the unexpired term of Mr. Schneider. x .01 Aegean Isle Estates Mr. Morrow, the property owner, and Mr. Rhodes, his agent presented building plans and plat. After a duscussion of changes recommended by the commission, the matter was tabled to the August meeting. Suggested changes included : all hard-surface park- ing lots and loading area,green area near the highwalT, more definitive septic field information, and moving the building off of the utility easement. Mr. Madden reported that the Loftus Subdivision in Countryside Center was denied by the City Council because it did not comply with the city's subdivision ordinance. Mr. Clarage alerted the commission to the state law that all subdivisions and rezonings must be referred to the loacl Soil and Water Conservation District for review. Mr. Clarage also presented copies of a revised Sec. 6 "residence district" for the commission to study for the proposed Comprehensive oni C Plan. Walk—In Business Mr. Kierleeber presented a plat of ruthrie Subdivision, which is outside the city limits. Mr. Olsen made a motion to approve the plat, seconded by Mr. Dollman. All voting aye.' otion carried. ti Mr. Glen Davidson asked for information on the land at the Wort".east corner of Bridge and Somonauk Streets. He requested that the present "Business" zoring be retained. Members of the commission advised him to attend the ,public hearings on the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance. Parr. Clarage will present a 30 minute color slide program with sound on ' unicix;al Planning" at the Commission's August meeting. Mr. Dollmar made a motion to adjourn at 9:15, seconded by Pair. Fauth.
