Members Present: Leo Anderson, Larry Langeland, Walter Olsen, Fred Schneider,, Fred Dolman, Bob Mahoney, Vernon Florence, George Walters Members Absents William Ford The minutes of the rogular meeting of January 27, 1972 were approved. A petition to reclassify 312 acres known as the Ray Franklin Farm on Faxon Road for a Planned Unit Development was presented by Norman Druwaond of Associatad Planners and Fred Dickson, Attorney, repre- sentinq the developers. Jail: Forney and John Franklin. The proposal is to annex this development to the City if and when the property becomes eontiggot v;,;to the City. Conssideeraâ–ºtion was given to the future municipal services the City would be responsible for and it was re- nrled that the developers work with the city engineer to install a water system that would be compatible with the City system. I was also noted that the oricrinal proposal for a density of 9.33 units per acre has been lowered: to 7.5 dwelling units per acre. upon motion by Bob Mahoney, second by tIalter Olsen, the Coamission voted no objection to the peetiti.oni seven voting "Yes` ` one abstaining. The petition of Blaine Barker to rezone Lots 3, 4 and 7 and the westerly 46 ft. of Lot S in Block 24 of Black's 2nd Addition from Industrial, Agricultural and ftside3ntiaal Uses to Apartment Dist. Uses was presented by Mir. Farke:r and Bob Loftus, proposed developer. Several residents of adjacent and nearby property voiced objections. A motion was viads by Fred Schneider. , second by Wait Olsen to hold a special adjourned meeting at the site on gat. , Feb. 24 at 9 AM* Upon roll call voter seven voting "Yes" , Fred Dol,lman, "No", motion was carried. A petition to approve a plat for one lot in Conover's 2nd subdivision was presented. Upon notion by Walter Olstn, Second by Fred Schneider, the Commission voted "Kea Objection". Charles Kincaid presented a proposed transportation plan for the area. Mr. Kincaid turned over the revised printing of the Proposed Zoning and Planning Ordinance for the city to Chr. Anderson. Upon motion by Vernon Florence, second by Larry Langeland, the meeting was adjourned at 10a4A PM until 9:04 AM on Feb. JA at the site of the Harker property.
