RE: Regular Meeting of City Planning Commission
Yeeting called to order by Vr. P ahoney at 7:45 PN
In attendance:. Larry Langland, Walt Olson, Vernon Florence,
Fred Dollman, Bill Ford, and Fred Schneider.
The first point of business - Petition of Wunsch property to
be rezoned from residential to duplex.
Attorney Fax Peterson appeared representing objectors feel-
ings that rezoning; would not be consistant with the single
residential dwelling in area and would further constitute
spot zoning.
After a. discussion the board rejected the request for rezoning
by a four (4 ) to two (2) vote.

Fred Schneider - Yes
Fob Mahoney - No
Vernon Florence, City Council representative having no vote.
The boards feeling to a degree was:
1 . Area predominately single family dwelling
2. Petition represented rental property in the area
3. Current city planning map does not provide for multi
dwelling in area
4. Represents minimum area for four family
The second point of business - The petition of Demetralis pro-
perty for annexation, rezoning to business and multi dwelling.
After considerable discussion, Nr. Larry Langland made the
motion to pass the petition onto the zoning board of appeals
with the following conditions.
1 . Recommending annexation if the present water and
sewage system could handle .
2
2. The entire or all units set out, meaning Thomas
property - Chase property - Stark property, be
included for rezoning.
3. Zoning be approved except that the multiples set
out be reduced by two thirds (2/3) and there be a
single family dwelling buffer between the existing
single family dwelling and proposed multiples.
Yr. Walt Olson second. the motion.
The committee approved by a five (5) to one (1 ) voting as
follows:

Bill Ford - Yes
Fred ,Schneider - Yes
Bob Pahoney - Yes
No further business before the board, meeting adjourned at
