The minutes of the Special. Meeting :)f April 28 were read and approved.
The request of Five Star Homes to rezone 7.6 acres south of the City from
Agriculture to Residential was con'inued from the April 28 meeting. The
property is owned by Walt Olsen, Sr., and the plans are to rezone and subdivide
into 43 lots approximately 82' by �01, with a street and sidewalks, and
entrances on Route 126 and Route 4".. with a cul-de-sac at the center.
A green area is planned at each entrance and lets will surround the cul-de-sac.
It was the consensus of the Plan C)mmission that the street be only 50'
wide rather than 601, which will increase the depth of each lot 5' to 87' .
In addition to this, the Plan Commission would like to see the green area
located between the cul-de-sacs, and not at the entrances. Also, an
easement should be allowed between the houses and garages of approximately
3 ft.
With these changes satisfied, on m.ition by James Hall, second by Fred
Schneider, the Commission votee to recommend approval of the request.
