Be it ordained by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Yorkville, Kendall County, Illinois, as follows:- Section 1. That Section 31 of an ordinance entitled AN OP.JiINANCE PERTAINING TO THE WATIR FORKS AN"' REPEALI��G ALL ORDINANCES IN REGAF.I3 TO TIFF WATER WORKS HERETOFORE PASSED AND APPROVED, passed January 4, 193411 be ,amended so that it reads as follows:- SECTION 31. (a) Meters shall be read; quarterly and bills for water furnished shall bey mailed,: on the first day of July, October, January; and pril, and all bills, for water rents and other services are payable at the office of the Village Treasurer. (b) The following water rents or rates are hereby established and shall be collected for all water consumption and water service rendered by the 'pillage of Yorkville, for which each service shall be by meter registration. Two Dollars and twenty-five cents ($2.25) for each three hundred fifty (350) cubic feet or fraction thereof per quarter. Twenty cents ($0.20) per one hundred (100) cubic feet over three hundred fifty (350) cubic feet to and including five thousand (5,000) cubic feet. Fifteen cents (: 0.15) per one hundred (100) cubic feet above five thousand 5,000) cubic feet; a discount of five §5) per cent of the face of the bill will be allowed if paid within ten (10) days from date of mailing of bill. (c) The above rates are for a quarter of a year or fraction thereof. (d) All bills shall become due on rendering and mailing and shall become delinquent on the last day of the month in w:lich they were rendered or ruailed provided the said bills were rendered or mailed prior to the 10th day of such month; if rendered or railed on or after the 10th of any month then such bills shall 'become delinquent on the last day of -he month following. Section 2. This ordinance shall not be construed to aff 2ct any section of the water works ordinance of the Village of Yorkville as originally passed except the foregoing Section 31, and shall not be construed to repaal any other section of said ordinance, and all other provisions of said ordinance and penalt-ies therein provided shall still be in full force and effect. Section 3. This amendatory ordinance shall be in full force and effect prom and after. June 1, 1944, and its publication as required by law. Passed this Uay of April A.D. 1944. Y \ 'Tillage Clerk.
