Chief Martin will have a report regarding the status of the street naming process. 3. Joint Activities —All members should be thinking about how we can work together with Recreation Department. I was also a member of Mayor Bob Johnson's planning committee which preceded the Human Resource Commission. This has been a very rewarding activity and I thank you, the mayor, and all city council members who have supported the Human Resource Commission. I also thank Mr. Graff and Chief Martin for their leadership and guidance during my time as a Human Resource Commission member and chair. Finally, I thank the members of the HRC who continue to do an outstanding job. I am confident that the activities begun by the Human Resource Commission will contribute to the welfare of the community. I am especially proud of the NRC's role in the City's adoption of CHARACTER COUNTS!sm,which will make a significant impact on our community for years to come. I also believe we have made a progress in addressing the street names and visitor center issues in our community. I am confident that the HRC will continue to address these issues as well as many others. As my term comes to an end, I will assure you that I will make every effort to make the transition to a new member and chairperson as smooth as possible.
