Mayor's Report: Glory Spies is the new Public Relations person- She wants to craft a letter for
more information for the Street Naming.
Sylvia stated she had the books straightened out. She found several errors, and because there
have been so many different people handling different parts of the process, there has been much
confusion. She would like one person to be the contact person to prevent some of the problems
she found. The Mayor stated that Glory was willing to work with HRC and sort of be an
-overseer,but she needs information and help in learning the process.. Sylvia suggested Glory
could be the one who would check as the steps are done.
Another issue is the street sign in Grand Reserve that is spelled wrong. One in Whispering
Meadow may also be spelled wrong, Sylvia found nine names on the Approved list that the
information on them was in the Not Approved book. The Mayor explained that some names
could be of people who sold the land to the developer and wanted names they chose for that
subdivision and those could have been included. He will contact Engineering to see about the
incorrect names. It is believed that no one is living on the street yet in Grand Reserve that is
spelled incorrectly and no streets have been laid in Whispering Meadow.
The list of Approved names was checked over according to Sylvia's findings and will be
checked with Engineering and Jennifer to get it figured out Sylvia will meet with Glory to go
over the forms for Street Nanning.
