Head 2. Work with the Public Property and Building Committee and/or the Beecher Building Advisory Committee in: a) Developing, scheduling, and promoting community events to make full use of the building b) developing, maintaining, and enforcing needed rules and regulations for governing the operation of the building c) developing and updating fee schedules 3. Schedule all rooms and kitchen of the building and maintain a calendar of all scheduled activities 4. Collect all rent, fees, and donations and forward to the city treasurer. Decide when refunds will be given. 5. Promote the use and availability of the building by public announcement, newspaper articles, and other media events. 6. Monitor condition of the building and equipment and report any needed improvements to the Public Works Department , Head. 7. Maintain records of activities, finances, inventory, and a record of building keys issued and returned. 8. Submit records and written reports to the Public Property and Buildings Committee and Beecher Building Advisory Committee monthly. 1 M Park Commission Recreation Director Job Description) 1 . Work with the Park Commission in selecting, developing, scheduling, and monitorLng community recreation programs. 2. Work with the Park Commission in developing, maintaining, and enforcing needed rules and regulations for governing the operation of the recreation programs, to insure fair and equitable opportunities for all members of the Qom- munity. 3. Work with the Park Commission in developing fee schedules for recreation programs, collect fees, and forward all fees collected to the city treasurer. 4. Select outside instructors, negotiate their fees within the income directly received from the recreational pro- grams, and monitor the programs. There will be no fees paid to the Recreation Director for teaching on an emer- gency basis. 5. Decide when classes will be cancelled or rescheduled and fees refunded. 6. Promote the recreation programs by public announcement, newspaper articles, and other media events. 7. Maintain a workable and balanced budget, submit proposed expenditures to the Park Commission for their recom- mendation prior to submission to the city council. Authorized to spend up to $200.00 per month on own authority for recreation program needs only. Such expenditures to be sub- mitted for later approval. 8. Maintain records of activities, finances, and inventory, and submit records and written reports to the Park Commission and city council monthly.
