Library Board Minutes 1982 11-08-82The Library Board met Monday, november , 1922 at the
library. ';oared. member Cheryl Gardner was absent.
The minutes were read, corrected, and approved.
The Treasurer r s report was given and filed for audit. L.
Jennings moved, we pay the bills for the month. M. J. Gardner
seconded the motion. Rpll call vote was taken. All were in
f avor.
A discussion of emtra shelving was held. M. J. Gardner
moved to advertise the units for 00.00 per unit in the library
papers. L. Jennings seconded the motion. All wore in favor.
We looked at floor plans of the new library. We also
discussed what type of material should be used in any furniture
purchases.
A purchasing policy was passed out for consideration. It
could be adopted in a library policy change.
As of November 1 , M. Thomas and M. Pfister will be con-
sidered full time city employees. At that time they should
receive insurance benefits. They each need to Work 130 hours
per month to qualify.
The muf ldirg Committee will meet Monday, I'ovemrer 15 ,
at the library.
E. Ellis moved to adjourn the meeting. J. :;'ginner
