Resolution 2020-47 Illinois Department Resolution for Maintenance of Transportation Under the Illinois Highway Code p 4 ' Resolution Number Resolution Type Section Number 2020-47 Supplemental I 20-00000-00-GM BE IT RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Governing Body Type Local Public Agency Type Yorkville Illinois that there is hereby appropriated the sum of Name of LocalPublic Agency One Hundred Sixty Thousand Dollars ($160,000.00 ) of Motor Fuel Tax funds for the purpose of maintaining streets and highways under the applicable provisions of Illinois Highway Code from 05/01/20 to 04/30/21 Beginning Date Ending Date BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that only those operations as listed and described on the approved Estimate of Maintenance Costs, including supplemental or revised estimates approved in connection with this resolution, are eligible for maintenance with Motor Fuel Tax funds during the period as specified above. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that City of Yorkville Local Public Agency Type Name of Local Public Agency shall submit within three months after the end of the maintenance period as stated above,to the Department of Transportation, on forms available from the Department, a certified statement showing expenditures and the balances remaining in the funds authorized for expenditure by the Department under this appropriation, and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED,that the Clerk is hereby directed to transmit four(4)ceritified originals of this resolution to the district office of the Department of Transportation. Yorkville, IL 60560 Municipal - MFT City of Yorkville Section No. 20-00000-00-GM Dear Ms. Pickering: The Supplemental resolution adopted by the Council of the City of Yorkville on May 26, 2020 appropriating $160,000.00 of Motor Fuel Tax funds for the maintenance of streets and highways in the village from May 1, 2020 to April 30, 2021 was approved on June 30, 2020. The Supplemental Municipal Estimate of Maintenance Costs for$160,000.00 was approved on June 30, 2020. This maintenance program is approved with the understanding that any claims for labor and equipment for day labor and routine maintenance will be on file and available for compliance review by Local Roads and Streets and for audit by the Bureau of Investigations and Compliance. Authorization to expend $160,000.00 of Motor Fuel Tax funds for maintenance for this section has been approved and should appear on the city's next Motor Fuel Tax transaction detail. Bids are required for purchases of materials if the expenditures exceed $25,000 during any maintenance period either(1)for the same type of materials, or(2) from any one vendor if the purchase includes the placement or incorporation of the materials. Please be advised that ALL projects involving pavement alterations and/or replacement/repair of sidewalks shall have curb ramps that comply with the current Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Guidelines.
