Admin Committee Minutes 1995 09-12-95 CITY OF YORKVILLE ADMINISTRATION COMMITTEE MINUTES TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 12,1995,7:00 PM 111 W FOX ST., SUITE 3, YORKVILLE Those present were Mayor Bob Johnson, Jeff Spang, Jerry Lynch, Art Prochaska, Richard Scheffrahn, Sue Bullock, and Jim Nanninga. 1. Walnut Street Property - Sue gave a presentation on properties of the city @ 5% exclusive listing for 9 months on Walnut St. property. (see attached letter and recommendation) Possibly split lots to residential and commercial. Committee recommendation is to utilize Remax, but will still talk about a 9 month exclusive contract on the Bridge St. lots. Sue recommends rezoning to duplex, at least the north lot. 2. Discussion followed about Rt. 47 office zoning for professionals (would have to have a Public Hearing). Ask Pauline Gauer what she would like, duplex or office zoning. There was some discussion about looking at all of Rt. 47 and how to treat it either O or R4. Bottom line is to talk to Pauline Gauer and Mrs. Peterson.. Art Prochaska and Sue Bullock will visit them, probably on Saturday the 16th. 3. Kim King will contact the state on the real estate taxes paid by the city on all city owned properties. 4. Budget - Jim Nanninga and Richard Scheffrahn to give report on line items over 90% or if the bottom is over percentage. There will be a semi - annual readjustment. We will see if the bill list can be done by the Friday before council meeting, then questions on the bill list can be directed to Kim, Judy or Pati. 5. City Hall - The Historical Society indicated that they could probably find funds for moving old City Hall. They would possibly want the bell as does the fire department, but would we want to keep the bell to be put in front of the old courthouse? Jeff Spang inquired about the treasures report. The treasures report must be produced within 6 months of thel end of the fiscal year. Minutes by Jim Nanninga.
