Introductions were completed. Mike Hitzemann thought that the philosophy of more money -more vote wasn't a good idea. The people with more money could have their own agenda. Kathy and Joel both explained the money is needed to function as a group. This fee structure may be modified depending on interest. Their one vote would be equal to all other executive members votes. Don Burks had an idea that members of an association or group could elect 1 member to be on the Executive Board to represent their group. Bob Johnson stated that the idea would be worth discussing. Art spoke of the responsibility the board members would have to the whole of Yorkville in what they do and decisions they make. This is an investment in our town. Bob Johnson explained that the other towns we've spoken with told us the first year is basically getting organized, determining objectives, finding director, and getting setup. Dennis Erwin, The Chamber, YNB, School District, Bank of Yorkville all displayed an interest in the Executive Board Level. The YBSD for a smaller level. The City will support with $45,000 /year. They will still only have one voice on the Executive Board. Bob gave out forms for commitment and asked everyone to get them back by 4/l/99. Send out to others not able to attend. After 4/l/99, the implementation committee will meet again to review the amount of commitment and determine where to go from there. Ralph asked for a list of Oswego's Members? Developers?
