A RESOLUTION OF THE UNITED CITY OF YORKVILLE, KENDALL
COUNTY, ILLINOIS, AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF LAWN
MOWERS IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $83,677
WHEREAS, the United City of Yorkville, Kendall County, Illinois (the "City") is a duly
organized and validly existing non -home rule municipality created in accordance with the
Constitution of the State of Illinois of 1970 and the laws of the State; and
WHEREAS, the City's 2027 budget has $88,500 set aside for the purchase of new
lawnmowers; and
WHEREAS, Shorewood Home & Auto, 1002 W. Jefferson Street, Shorewood, Illinois (the
"Supplier") provided the City with a quote (the "Quote"), attached hereto and incorporated herein
as Exhibit A, for two (2) Exmark LZX980EKC96RW0, LAZER X 96" lawnmowers in the amount
of $33,999.00 each, and one (1) Exmark LRX820AKA606Q1, LAZER Z X-60" lawnmower in
the amount of $15,679.00 (the "Equipment"); and
WHEREAS, the total cost of the Equipment provided for in the Quote is $83,677; and
WHEREAS, the City used OMNIA Partners competitive procurement system to obtain
the Quote from the Supplier, and finds the Supplier's price to be reasonable; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor and City Council have determined that it is in the best interests of
the health and safety of the City and its residents to authorize and approve the purchase of the
Equipment from the Supplier as hereinafter provided.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and City Council of the United
City of Yorkville, Kendall County, Illinois, as follows:
Section 1. The foregoing recitals are incorporated into this Resolution as the findings of
the Corporate Authorities.

Section 2. The City Administrator is authorized and directed to proceed with the purchase
of the Equipment from Shorewood Home & Auto, 1002 W Jefferson Street, Shorewood, Illinois,
as provided in the Quote, for an amount not to exceed $83,677.00.
Section 3. That this Resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage
and approval as provided by law.
Passed by the City Council of the United City of Yorkville, Kendall County, Illinois this
