Personnel Committee Meeting
Monday, May 11, 2026 6:00pm

The Personnel Committee meeting was called to order at 6:00pm by Chairwoman Theron Garcia.
Roll Call of Committee Members:
Theron Garcia-yes, Sharon Mix-yes, Keri Pesola-yes
Absent: Wendy Gatz, Ryan Forristall
Others Present: None
Recognition of Visitors: No visitors
Public Comment: None
New Business:
Director's Annual Performance Evaluation
The purpose of this meeting was to discuss the Director's annual performance evaluation.
Executive Session:
Chairwoman Garcia made a motion at 6:01pm to enter into Executive Session and read the reason as follows:
For the appointment, employment, compensation, discipline, performance, or dismissal of specific
employees of the public body or legal counsel for the public body, including hearing testimony on a
complaint lodged against an employee of the public body or against legal counsel for the public body to
determine its validity. Ms. Mix seconded the motion.
The Session concluded at approximately 6:26pm on a motion and second by Ms. Garcia and Ms. Pesola,
respectively. The Committee returned to the regular session of the Personnel Committee meeting.
New Business cont.
Chairman Garcia said the committee would present new sample evaluation forms to the full Board to select the
one to be used for the Director's evaluation. The committee will meet again at 6pm on June 8th prior to the
Library Board meeting, to conduct the performance evaluation.
There was no further business and the meeting was adjourned at 6:27pm on a motion and second by Ms. Garcia
and Ms. Mix, respectively. Unanimous voice vote for adjournment.
